PX4 setup and ground station in your browser
Set up a PX4 vehicle from a Chrome or Edge tab: choose the airframe, calibrate sensors, assign flight modes, set battery and safety limits, edit parameters and plan missions. The same ground station runs in the FlySpark app on Android and iPhone.
Connect over USB, a telemetry radio on a USB serial adapter, or a Bluetooth telemetry adapter.
Free. Hardware connections need Chrome or Edge on a computer; phones use the FlySpark app.

When a browser tab beats an install
QGroundControl is the official ground station for PX4 and the tool the PX4 user guide is written around. It is a solid choice, but it is a separate download for each computer. If you are on a borrowed laptop, a locked-down work machine or a Chromebook, a web ground station is quicker.
FlySpark runs in Chrome or Edge and covers the PX4 setup pages most builds need, with the same names as the PX4 documentation. Use QGroundControl when you need its advanced features; both work with the same vehicle and parameters.
Connections
Web Serial gives the page access to a USB cable or a SiK-style telemetry radio, and Web Bluetooth reaches Bluetooth UART adapters. UDP telemetry on port 14550 and TCP links need the FlySpark phone app, because browsers do not allow raw sockets. PX4 and ArduPilot share the same ground station in FlySpark; whichever the vehicle runs is opened automatically. See the ArduPilot ground station page for the ArduPilot side.
How to set up a PX4 vehicle in the browser
- Open PX4. Open FlySpark in Chrome or Edge and choose PX4.
- Connect. Plug in the flight controller over USB, or your telemetry radio, and allow the port.
- Airframe and sensors. Choose the airframe, then calibrate the sensors following the on-screen steps.
- Modes and safety. Assign flight modes to your radio switches and set battery and failsafe actions before the first flight.
Frequently asked questions
Is FlySpark a replacement for QGroundControl?
It covers common setup, parameters, missions and flight data in a browser. QGroundControl remains the official PX4 ground station with the widest feature set.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Edge on desktop. Safari and Firefox do not support Web Serial.
Can I connect over UDP 14550?
In the FlySpark phone app, yes. A browser cannot open UDP sockets, so the web version uses USB and Bluetooth.
Can I try it without hardware?
Yes. The demo starts a simulated PX4 vehicle so you can explore setup and planning.
